Seamless planning

In addition to multi-modal planning, the Trapeze System is a complete and integrated system solution for the planning of line-bound and demand-response traffic in the same system, and not least the completely seamless integration of these traffic systems. This means that a large number of transport types – school transport, patient transport, special school transport, work transport, disabled transport etc. – can be fully integrated.

Planning in geographical maps

Overall traffic planning and analysis of the integrated transport option can be based on geographical and demographic data. The Trapeze System integrates geographical maps, and the route planning of line-bound as well as demand-response traffic can therefore be performed directly in a GIS-based interface.

Real-time system

The Trapeze System is a real-time system with the fully automatic dispatch of trips to vehicles or other booking systems. The vehicles can be connected to the central database by means of genuine two-way communication, either via Trapeze’s own vehicle computer solution or via other similar solutions. The system is constantly monitoring vehicles, warning of any delays which have occurred or any rules which will be breached unless the traffic planners (traffic managers) take action. The system can also be expanded to include GPS, providing traffic planners with an even better overview of the entire fleet of vehicles.
