Wiener Lokalbahnen Cargo expands with
Trapeze Rail Software System
Århus: October 2009. For further successful expansion of its European freight services, the Vienna-based company will be using Trapeze Cargo Manager. This system comprehensively supports booking, allocation and accounting of casual and regular services. Particularly time-saving features include automatic wage accounting and the allocation of personnel, taking statutory and collective agreements into account. The actual data required for accounting is registered and transmitted via mobile units directly from the engine driver on the route. Allocation of vehicles and ordering workshop / maintenance services
A new feature of the Trapeze Rail System is the option of ordering workshop services.
"As part of allocation, the availability of vehicles, their mileage and operating hours can be read off at a glance," says Udo Steinmeier, Sales Manager D-A-CH of Trapeze Group Deutschland GmbH. "This avoids unpleasant surprises in daily operations and means repairs or inspections can be planned well in advance." It is now also possible to order any necessary workshop services directly and monitor deadlines.
