Wiener Lokalbahnen Cargo GmbH (WLC) expands with Trapeze Cargo ManagerIn order to expand their succesful service to the European commercial transport sector, the Vienna-based company will start using Trapeze Cargo Manager. This program supports booking, allocation and accounting of casual and regular service. Particularly time saving features for WLC include the automatic wage accounting and the allocation of personnel, which respects statutory and collective agreements. The necessary actual data for accounting is registered and transmitted via mobile units to and from the engine driver on the route. "The functionality is convincing. Furthermore, Trapeze is very open to customisations and responds quickly to our improvement suggestions." says Mr. Norbert Moller, director at WLC, and adds: "At the moment, we are working together with Trapeze on a user interface for the route portal." DSBFirst chooses TrapezeFrom January 2009, DSBFirst has taken over the operation of of the Oresund trains which run between Denmark and Sweden, from Helsingor in northseeland, Denmark and up to Blekinge Län in Sweden. DSBFirst has acquired Trapeze Operation Management System for roster planning, crew management, attendance and payroll calculation. The solution intgrates several labour agreements. The system has interfaces to DSBFirst's planning system and uses web services to update the Operation Management system with information of irregularities in the train service. DSBFirst has 600 employees and 85 train sets. Erfurter BahnErfurter Bahn and Süd Thüringen Bahn, Germany implements Trapeze System Erfurter Bahn has bought Trapeze Operation Management System to handle crew allocation and planning of their 220 employees. Erfurter Bahn is a medium sized Railway operator in the middle of Germany. Erfurt is the Capitol of Thüringen and is located between Kassel and Leipzig. Colum-bus A/SMay 2008, Colum-bus as has signed a contract for NOVUS. Colum-bus operates DRT in Copenhagen City and Vestegnen (area west of Copenhagen). They offer transport of school childen, handicapped, elderly, pensioneers, transport for leasure activities, sports events, Kindergarten tours, etc. The company has approx. 35 vehicles. VBT A/SVognmændenes Bus Trafik A/S (VBT A/S), Denmark, has chosen Trapeze PASS to schedule and dispatch their DRT services. With a fleet of 200 minibuses, VBT is one of the largest operators of both patient transport and school transport in Denmark. In 2003 VBT performed 700,000 patient trips and 1,7 million school trips. KustbevakningenKustbevakningen, Sweden, has purchased Trapeze software to do their crew planning and employee allocation. Kustbevakningen has approximately 500 employees. Wiener LokalbahnenWiener Lokalbahnen, Austria has acquired the Trapeze package for planning and operations of their fixed route and demand responsive services. Wiener Lokalbahnen transports 11 million passengers per year and has 370 employees. Omnibusunternehmen LedermairOmnibusunternehmen Ledermair is the oldest privately owned bus operator in Tyrol, Austria. Ledermair has chosen a complete Trapeze planning and operations suite to help them cope with their acquisition-fueled growth. Regentalbahn AGThe German rail company Regentalbahn AG has chosen Trapeze software for their vehicle and crew scheduling, their roster planning and their daily operations, including payroll calculations. Regentalbahn operates scheduled passenger and freight services in the southern and southeastern German regions Bavaria, Thuringia and Saxony with links into the Czech Republic. Regentalbahn became part of Arriva Germany in 2004.
